Hello there, my name is Marta, and children are my passion. I raised 2 beautiful sons, and as the youngest of 7 girls, I spent many years caring for my sisters children. I have a theater arts background, and I am an artist and musician as well. With babies and toddlers, I focus on love, nurturing, reading, rocking, song and fun, all the while teaching and mentoring with patience and love. With older kids, I arrive with my nanny bag filled with interesting and educational activities geared to your child's interests and needs. Kids love anticipating what might be inside. I believe in positive reinforcement, and in keeping kids busy, not glued to the TV. I love to cook with children, especially around the holidays, go for nature walks, do all sorts of arts and crafts, and teach through fun experiences. I have been trained in First Aid and CPR, Read more and I have broad experience caring for those with developmental and physical disabilities. I am kind and patient, but firm if I need to be, which isn't too often due to using lot's of love and Nanny bag goodies.
