My name is Dessah, and caring for others has been the work and joy of my life for over 31 years. I’ve been a mother, educator, caregiver, and homemaker. I’ve had the blessing of walking beside many children, parents, grandparents, and family pets with respect, love, and guidance. I am a woman of deep faith, as it is my walk of truth. I am not a professional, but rather an older woman who finds great joy in helping to run a household smoothly and caring for its inhabitants. I truly enjoy the domestic rhythm of life — child care, senior care, cooking, cleaning, organizing, laundry, grocery shopping, and creating a comfortable and welcoming home. For 15 years, I worked as a mentor for families navigating the challenges of a severe medical diagnosis for their child at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas. I also volunteered with the Children’s Miracle Network for Read more 8 years, supporting families and helping raise awareness for children in need. Currently, I volunteer at Victory Village Christian Academy, assisting young girls who are seeking healing and stability. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide compassionate guidance and support to children and families in a variety of situations.I have strong diserment skills in seeing needs of others and how best to serve them. I have patience and enjoy creating a joyful atmosphere. I look for solutions to problems as a way of life. I offer solid references, a clean background and driving record.
