New to ‘sittercity’ but a pro at babysitting!! I’m a motivated 25 year old, with over 10 years of babysitting experience, starting at the age of 14. Growing up I’d watch my little cousins, little brother, neighbor’s, and family friends children, all the time. I’d have the responsibility of helping with homework, feeding, playing, cleaning up, and making sure that they get to bed. When I was younger I did it to help out my family/family friends and would sometimes get some pocket change, which was a plus but I enjoyed doing it nonetheless. I just recently started to get compensated for babysitting about 2 and a half years ago. I’ve babysat for one of my very good friends for 2 years, she has beautiful twin girls who are now 5yrs old and I still step in here and there to help out with them. After my last family, where I looked after the most adorable 2 month old, I stepped in to cover for another nanny, I remembered how passionate I was about working with children and how much I loved being a nanny all over again. Im currently looking to become a full time nanny, as I pursue heading back to school and furthering my education. I take pride in being helpful to others and babysitting allows me to help where I can, however that may look. I am CPR certified (renewing my certification, in the works), I have experience with children of all ages, I’m able to tidy up where needed (I’m a neat freak), and I’m very dependable.
