Coming from a family of seven children, caring for kids has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up in a large family taught me patience, responsibility, flexibility, and how to connect with children of different ages and personalities. I also have extensive experience working with children in both educational and recreational settings. I spent over six summers as a camp counselor and leader, where I supervised children, planned activities, and helped create a fun and safe environment. I have also worked as a summer school teacher and coached middle school volleyball and basketball, giving me experience mentoring, teaching, encouraging, and managing groups of children with different needs and personalities. Professionally, I am a registered nurse with over 10 years of healthcare experience. I am trained in CPR and emergency response and am comfortable recognizing and responding to illnesses, injuries, and unexpected situations. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and love keeping them engaged through games, sports, outdoor activities, crafts, reading, homework help, and creative play. I'm also happy to help with meals, bedtime routines, and everyday care while respecting each family's routines and parenting preferences. Most importantly, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your children in someone else's care. My goal is for parents to feel completely comfortable knowing their children are with someone who is responsible, experienced, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys spending time with kids.
