Hi there! My name is Maggie. I'm 23 years old and in the process of getting my Bachelors degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Urban Education and Equity Studies at Wayne State University. Though I will eventually be teaching high schoolers, I am deeply passionate about learning at all ages, especially in how to make learning fun! With permission, of course, I would love to explore a topic that interests your children and find activities to help them learn about it, such as visiting a local museum, creating art, or doing a science experiment. I have approximately 5 years of babysitting experience, including watching younger family members and helping a local family out by caring for their two children during the summer and after school. On top of my babysitting experience, I have volunteered multiple summers at the Howell Carnegie Library and assisted the librarians with facilitating summer Read more programs including literacy workshops and themed events, such as a Master Chef tournament. Personally, I am really into crafting and science experiments! I also love learning languages and know a bit of French and Spanish. My availability is very flexible, but ideally I'd love to find a consistent babysitting job. Although it is the summer, I am able to help kids with school work if necessary and love to work learning into fun activities!
