I have 5+ years in childcare , specifically working with special needs children . I am currently a paraeducator with the public school system . I work with children with all types of special needs , but particularly autism as that’s the majority of our students . I also have a 10 year old daughter whom is autistic, so I have a lot of experience with special needs . Before becoming a paraeducator I was the director of child care at our local school and also substituted. So , I have experience with all ages and needs of children . I have also been a caretaker for the elderly . Both I absolutely love doing !
