Why do you love being a sitter? I love being around kids and have always enjoyed taking care of them. I come from a big family, so I’ve been around younger kids for most of my life. I also hope to have kids of my own someday, so caring for children is something that comes naturally to me and that I genuinely enjoy. I like getting to know each child’s personality and finding fun things to do with them while also making sure they feel comfortable and safe. What experience do you have? I have experience babysitting for family members as well as consistently working in my church nursery. Working in the nursery gave me experience caring for multiple children at once and keeping them entertained, safe, and comfortable. What skills and training do you have? I’m responsible, patient, organized, and dependable. My experience in childcare and tutoring has taught me how to communicate with different ages and personalities and stay patient when someone needs extra help or attention. I’m also comfortable helping with homework, preparing simple meals or snacks, playing games and activities with kids, and keeping things picked up and organized.
