Hello families. I'm looking forward to learning about your children and family! A position as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) / Night Nanny would be my first choice. However, my experience working with children is extensive. I've been a Live-In Nanny, Live-Out Nanny, Preschool Teacher, Daycare worker, and years of babysitting. I was also a supervisor at a daycare center, where I was an infant specialist. I love teaching babies sign language. It's amazing to see how quickly they pick it up and are about to communicate with you so much better! While I'm all for spontaneity, I think it's important to have a schedule and give children expectations and consistency. I was Valedictorian of my college (when I was in my 30s, I went back to school) and am very detail oriented. Organization is my love language! I was also a Certified Medical/Surgical Assistant and am First Aid, BLS Read more (Basic Life Support), and CPR certified. I can handle all bodily fluids and don't get grossed out. I will not panic, if there's an emergency. I have five years experience working with wounds and surgery aftercare. Fun fact: while my specialty is infants to Pre-K, under the right circumstances I can with school age to teens. I've also been a Latch-Key Teacher, Public School Substitute Teacher (K-12), and a youth group counselor.
