Hi! I’m Lily, I’m 26, and I have a genuine passion for working with children, especially infants and younger kiddos. With over 10 years of childcare experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many wonderful families and children ranging from 1 month to 12 years old. I’ve babysat for up to five children at a time, nannied a 3 year old full time for over a year, worked as a camp counselor, and served as a substitute teacher during college. My approach to childcare is child-led, compassionate, and inclusive. I believe children deserve to feel heard, respected, and involved in the decisions that affect their day. I make an effort to meet each child where they are, recognizing that every one has their own personality, interests, needs, and way of learning. I adapt my approach to help each child feel comfortable, supported, and confident. I love involving children in Read more everyday activities and giving them opportunities to make choices. Whether we’re deciding what activities to do, preparing a meal, cleaning up together, or exploring something new, I encourage children to participate in ways that feel fun and age appropriate. I believe these moments help children develop independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Some of my favorite activities include spending time outdoors, crafts, imaginative play, reading, music, and being silly. My goal is to make everyday moments engaging. I appreciate channeling my own inner child, joining in their world of imagination, and following their curiosity. I would describe myself as patient, compassionate, dependable, and consistent. I understand that caring for children requires flexibility, attentiveness, and the ability to respond calmly to different situations. I strive to create an environment where children feel safe being themselves while also providing the structure and support they need. Whether your family is looking for occasional babysitting, regular childcare, or someone to help make your day a little easier, I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your children! I currently work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am typically available outside those hours. I believe childcare is about more than supervision- it’s about building trust, encouraging growth, and creating meaningful experiences where children feel valued, included, and cared for.
