My name is Jintana Mootz, and I have been working with children for over 7 years. I am passionate about creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. I grew up in Thailand and have always loved being around children. When I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in early childhood education. After high school, I attended Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand where I earned a teaching degree in Chinese Language. During my training time in college, I gained experience working with children of all ages, from kindergarten to middle school. After college, I joined the au pair program and came to the United States in 2017. Under my J-1 VISA, I worked as a live-in caregiver in MD for two years. Residing with an Asian- American family, that experience greatly enhanced my skills in child development and learning. After completing the au Read more pair program, I decided to stay in the United States and began the legal immigration process. Having an established relationship with a professional family, I transitioned to work for them as a full-time nanny and gained experience by working part-time with the children of other local families to supplement my growth. During that time, I gained experience working with children ranging in age from infants to preschoolers. I love my job, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children every day. More recently, I decided to advance my career by studying Early Childhood Development and Education. I continue to observe, experience, and gain knowledge of the developmental milestones. I’ve personally witnessed and am fascinated by. This knowledge has given me an in depth understanding of these age groups and the skills needed to best help them learn. I am married. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, cooking, baking, hiking, and traveling.
