Hello! My name is Cydnee, and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a sophomore at Point Park University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance with a concentration in Modern Dance. Dance has been a major part of my life for many years. Through my training, performances, choreography, and teaching experiences, I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. I love sharing my passion for dance with young people and helping them build confidence, discipline, and self-expression through movement. For the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with children through both childcare and dance education. I volunteered at my local dance center for two years, helping young dancers begin their dance journeys while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. With over two years of childcare experience, I have cared for children ranging from infants to school-aged kids. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and supported. My experience includes feeding, diaper changes, bedtime routines, homework assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I also enjoy organizing creative activities, crafts, games, and movement-based activities that keep children active and engaged. I pride myself on being dependable, responsible, patient, and punctual. Families can count on me to provide attentive care while serving as a positive role model for their children. My background in dance has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, teamwork, and creating meaningful connections with others. Outside of childcare, I enjoy dancing, choreographing, creating music, journaling, and spending time with family and friends. I am dedicated to continuing my growth as both an artist and a mentor.
