Hi! My name is Ava. I’m a 20-year-old biology student home for the summer, and I’m looking to help out local families with steady recurring care or occasional babysitting. I love working with children as it’s something I find incredibly rewarding. Whether we’re heading outside to play, working on crafts, or settling in for a movie, I love it all. Because I’ve grown up helping with my mom’s babysitting—frequently assisting with a now 3-year-old and 5 year-old—I have extensive experience with infants, toddlers, and also school-aged children up to age 9. She is currently babysitting my 3 month old boy. Ava is a very responsible sitter and always open to learning. I was very skeptical about leaving my baby for the first time with someone he did not know, but she was constantly in contact with me to give me updates on him. With a little more experience, I certainly believe that Ava can adapt to specific needs of different babies.
