I was also required to travel with families and or stay with children overnights, sometimes up to two weeks. Ages ranging from newborn to early teens & also multiples-twins & triplets. I am a mature nanny (52 years old) who takes my job serious a & I have excellent work ethic. As for my qualifications: Besides being in the field for 25 yrs, in 2019 I was DCFS certified with a criminal background cleared checked & fingerprints on file (Biometric Impressions). I also took accredited classes through DCFS. Those are listed under my Professional skills. I did this because I worked for a home daycare where I was an assistant care giver & substitute. *My rate is $22/hr this is for childcare only-one child. +$3 extra per child. If I will be transporting child in my vehicle .56 per mile reimbursement is asked. ***As a travel nanny or overnight nanny my rate is $352-$400 a day. This is for 16 hours not the whole 24 hours. If I could give Mari 10 stars, I would. My only hesitation in reviewing her is that she will find another job that is easier than our hectic household. Mari is a true natural with kids. She jumped right in with our three young children who are not easy because of there close ages. But, Mari handles them very well and still finds time to help out with cleaning up after them. I am especially thankful that she expects them to help with toy clean up and gently encourages them to do their part. She is very professional, courteous, prompt and reliable. I am thrilled that we have found her. She is a wonderful person and an excellent caregiver.
