I come from a big family, which sparked my interest with babysitting. I also mentored and tutored elementary students for two years. After that, I became the reading curriculum intern for the mentoring program, in which I supervised reading mentors and shaped the curriculum across various underserved sites around University of Maryland for 1st & 2nd graders. This mentorship taught the importance of community, fostering growth, and resilience within each other. I have a Bachelors in Biology and a CPR certification.
