I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Child Development Psychology. I am currently taking a gap year before attending medical school and am excited to continue working with children and families through babysitting. I grew up in Mount Pleasant and, as the second oldest of four sisters, caring for kids has always been a huge part of my life. I have several years of paid babysitting experience and am most experienced with children ages 4–14. I am energetic, dependable, and love keeping kids engaged through outdoor activities, games, sports, crafts, and creative play. I spent four years assistant coaching middle school tennis at Cario Middle School, which helped me develop strong leadership skills and a fun, encouraging approach with children of all personalities and ages. I also worked as a trainer at Chick-fil-A, where I Read more strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to work well with people in fast-paced environments. In addition to childcare, I am CPR/AED certified, recently completed EMT school, and have experience in emergency medical care with individuals of all ages. I also love helping students learn and build confidence academically. In college, I worked as a math and physics tutor, and I also tutored math throughout high school, so I am very comfortable helping with homework, studying, and school projects. I’m happy to help with light cooking, baking, cleaning, laundry, transportation, and keeping busy schedules organized. I have my own reliable car and am flexible, responsible, and committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every family I work with!
