Hello! My name is Anum and I have nearly 5 years of paid babysitting experience caring for children of all ages through family, friends, and working with other children I’ve met through my previous job as a pediatric assistant. I’m currently a college student studying health sciences, and I’ve always had a passion for helping others, especially kids. I spent 6+ months volunteering at Northwell Children’s Hospital in the pediatric unit, and I’ve also volunteered at elementary schools, nursing homes, and community programs. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that communication, patience, and compassion are key when working with children. Even though I am attending college, my classes are mainly online which means I can dedicate my time accordingly to my work. I’m CPR certified and have first aid knowledge from previous workshops, safety is always a top priority. I always cook homemade nutritious and balanced meals that contain alternatives and substitutions to provide the healthiest options that kids will definitely enjoy too! Outside of babysitting, I volunteer at cat cafés, help fundraise for water wells in Sudan, and support food drives, homeless shelters, and toy/clothing donations for kids. Giving back and helping others is something I truly value. I always aim to build understanding and trust with both the children and their parents or guardians, whichever applies to your situation, I want to make the most out of the time I’m hired as a babysitter. I’d love to bring a caring, dependable, and fun energy to your family :) I am available certain days of the week, will clarify!
