I am a former teacher, (grade school and middle school) and mother of 2 grown children. When I was seeking help with child care I looked for someone that would provide a fun, fair and firm environment in my absence. Now that I am looking to support your family, I would bring those same values, while also respecting your needs and routines. I am a certified CPR instructor, non-smoker and pet lover, although, I'm partial to dogs. My interests include history, current events and reading. I am an active person: tennis, skiing, kayaking and bike riding. I love watching sports, cheering on my favorite teams, Celtics, Patriots and, dare I say, The Yankees! (Forgive me, I'm from NY) & I've been fortunate to have traveled to many parts of the world, and have lead students on international travel programs. I sing with Rock Voices (https://rockvoices.com) and enjoy music. I've dabbled Read more with learning to play the ukulele and harmonica, but no where near concert or public ready! As an after school provider, I would make myself available for 1/2 school days, and if needed, for a sick child, needing to stay home. Taking children to their activities or appointments would be expected as part of the job. My goal is for your family to feel comfortable with me, knowing all will be well in your absence.
