I have loved working with kiddos for as long as I can remember! I enjoy getting to know each child, finding fun ways to engage, creating activities for them, and fostering positive development. I have six years of nannying experience with three primary families and have cared for children ranging from six weeks old through school age. One of my families had five children, including twin boys, aged newborn to six years old. In addition to providing daily care, I helped with homeschooling and supported the needs of their busy household. I currently work in neurodiagnostics at Duke University Hospital, where I frequently work with children in the NICU and PICU, including patients with neurodiverse needs and complex medical conditions. During my time as a student-athlete at Duke, I also worked with Team Impact, supporting children with a variety of abilities and care needs. Additionally, I teach a three-year-old preschool Read more class at my church, which has been a wonderful opportunity to spend dedicated time helping young children learn, grow, and explore. My experience in both private childcare and pediatric healthcare has helped me become comfortable caring for children of all ages and supporting children with diverse developmental and medical needs. I am CPR and BLS certified through my full-time job and stay up to date with my required training and vaccinations. I speak English and French and am conversational in American Sign Language (ASL). Most importantly, I strive to create a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where every child feels cared for and every family feels at ease.
