Hi! I’m Laura, a bilingual Spanish-English nanny originally from Spain, with experience caring for children ages 1 to 13 in Spain, the UK, and the US. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and getting to know their personalities, interests, and little quirks. I love creating fun, screen-free activities, especially crafts, drawing, painting, games, creative projects, and outdoor activities. With my background in Fine Arts and Audiovisual Arts, I’m always coming up with new ways to keep kids engaged and having fun. I have experience as an occasional babysitter in Spain and as an Au Pair in the UK, where I lived with two different families and cared for four children. Living with the families meant becoming part of their everyday routines. I helped with school routines, homework, meals and snacks, activities, keeping the children’s spaces organized, laundry, and other household responsibilities. This experience taught me to be dependable, adaptable, Read more and comfortable taking responsibility for both children and their daily routines. I also worked as a Ride Operator at Six Flags Great Escape for three summers, where safety, responsibility, communication, and creating a positive experience for children and families were an important part of my work. I’m happy to help with homework, getting ready for school, packing backpacks, keeping rooms organized, preparing meals and snacks, school bus drop-off or pick-up, bath time, and other age-appropriate responsibilities. I enjoy supporting children not only with having fun, but also with becoming more independent and confident in their everyday routines. I’m responsible, patient, creative, communicative, and adaptable, and I always aim to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, supported, and excited to spend time together. I currently have very flexible availability. I don’t have a car, but I can travel by electric scooter or bicycle when appropriate.
