Hi, I'm Abby! I am 20 years old and a rising senior at the University of Florida studying Early Childhood Education. I love spending time with babies and kids. In fact, people who are close to me joke that if you want to find me, just find the kids. Because of this, I'm a great babysitter since I truly enjoy every minute I get to spend with the kids. In February 2021, I began working in a preschool as a float teacher, spending time in the infant, one’s, two’s, three’s, and VPK room. I have Child, Infant, and Adult CPR and First Aid training. I have completed several DCF classes as well. I also have experience teaching in both Kindergarten and 1st-grade classrooms in the Alachua County Public School system. I have been babysitting for 8 years, but I have been helping out with little kids since before I can Read more remember. I have lots of experience working with multiples, including twins and sibling sets. I have watched up to six kids at a time and have experience with children from infancy to age 13. I have my own vehicle with a clean driving record, experience with supervising swimming while babysitting, and am comfortable with bedtime, naptime, mealtime, snack time, playtime, outside activities, bath time, etc. I completed the Red Cross babysitting course, which covers many safety measures for babysitters, including CPR, infant CPR, safe swimming, allergic reactions, and other such things. Outside of babysitting, I am a responsible straight-A student and a leader on my school campus. I love to bake, read, and take pictures. I have references available upon request.
