I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy caring for children and helping them feel safe, happy, and understood. Watching them grow, learn new things, and develop their personalities is incredibly rewarding. I also value the trust families place in me, and I take that responsibility seriously. Babysitting gives me the chance to connect with kids one-on-one, create fun and educational moments, and provide support to families when they need it most. I’ve been babysitting my younger siblings and cousins for several years, which gave me hands-on experience with children of all ages—from infants to pre-teens. In addition to babysitting, I’ve worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the past two years, which has strengthened my skills in caregiving, communication, and responding calmly to emergencies. My CNA role also taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and building trust—skills that easily transfer to childcare. What skills and training Read more do you have? As a CNA, I am trained in first aid, CPR, hygiene care, and managing emotional and physical needs in a calm and professional way. I’ve developed strong time-management skills, the ability to multitask, and I’m very attentive to safety. In my babysitting experience, I’ve handled everything from diaper changes and bottle feeding to helping with homework and creating fun, age-appropriate activities. I also know how to set boundaries kindly and encourage positive behavior in children.
