I’m much older now since my paid babysitting days when I was a teenager but I remember the joy it brought me even at that young age. Started at 13 and around 20 the little kids in my life grew up and mine were born. Here I am now, 57, divorced many years, kids are grown but successful, I work 5 days a week from home and spend most of my free time watching movies and playing games. Gets old while I get older. None of my 3 kids have their own children yet and quite honestly, I miss babies and children. I have missed them for quite some time so much so I bought a baby doll, lol. A very expensive one however for hopefully a future granddaughter. The thing is, I miss the innocence of children and the smiles and the joy they can bring. Of course kids Read more have their moments but so do a lot of adults so, that passes, but the good stuff continues. I’m not extremely social person but I’m comfortable with children. I love dogs and animals but must say I am very allergic to cats so that might be a problem. I’m mostly here for those who need a weekend babysitter but not early mornings.
