I love being a sitter because it is the most joyful and fulfilling job I have ever had! I truly enjoy spending time with kids and planning enriching activities for them! I believe that experiences at all stages of childhood shape us into the people we become, so I love partnering with families to ensure I help pass your values on to your children! I am also extremely passionate about education and making learning fun for all ages! I began working with children in high school as a dance teacher assistant and substitute instructor. For about two years in college, I volunteered in my church's Sunday school where I helped teach first and kindergarten classes. One year, I was assigned to be an aide for a student with special needs (autism spectrum and ADHD) to ensure his needs were met and he was included and could participate in class activities. Read more For the summers of 2023 and 2024, I have worked as a private nanny in my hometown for a family that I love! Their children ranged from ages 2 to 9. I prepared meals, took the kids on outings, played games, etc. Both of those summers I also worked church childcare jobs. Through these jobs, I have worked in nursery settings and settings with older kids and mixed age groups. I am CPR certified. I have also worked at as a tutor and writing coach for Texas A&M athletics and really loved it, so I would be interested in and capable of tutoring and homework help!
