My name is Annie, I am 38 years old and my daughter and I will be beginning our homeschool adventure in the 2026-2027 school year with first grade. I will be leaving my beloved job of 3 years as the Director of Admissions at a local, private preschool next summer, as my daughter will be graduating. From there, I am looking for a way to continue earning an income doing something I absolutely love! Our little family (me, my husband and our 5-year-old daughter) is located in Mooresville, NC. I have had an array of wonderful jobs including retail management, corporate roles, event planning, as a hiring and training manager and more, but I was also a nanny for well over a decade prior to that. My love of children has run through absolutely everything I have done, and they are my passion. I previously worked full-time for two wonderful Read more Charlotte families as I was completing my BA degree later in life at UNCC, and provided part-time care in my home for another family when my daughter was a baby. I am looking for type of unicorn role in which I can have the mornings to homeschool my daughter, and the afternoons to work for a few hours per day. I would love to pick children up from school, bring them home or to my house to stay with them, help with homework, laundry, cleaning, dinner prep and more. My daughter would be with me; she is 5.5 years old, extremely social and she loves other kids! I will be available starting in the summer of 2026.
