I’m a calm, nurturing graduate student, who has been sitting for years. I love sitting not only because of how good I am with children but for how children are the best group of people to be around. In my experience I have learnt that letting your inner child free and coming down to the level of the children mostly helps you connect better and easily earn their trust. Caring for children is much easier when you establish trust and make them feel safe around you. I have some background in early childhood education and child development and I have learnt a lot about nurturing children in the right environment and this environment includes the people who make up the environment. Considering the experiences today may affect their later life outcomes, I am very particular and intentional about care-giving.
