Hello, my name is Bailey. I’m currently earning my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Virginia and hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I’ve completed over 400 hours of clinical training in a variety of settings, including emergency care and pediatrics. I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and pride myself on being dependable and communicative. My experience working with children began at home, helping care for my three younger siblings—including a set of twins—which gave me a strong foundation in patience, multitasking, and creating a safe, supportive environment. In undergrad, I volunteered at the VCU daycare, gaining over 200 hours of hands-on experience with toddlers ages one to three. I assisted with daily routines such as meals, naps, outdoor play, and classroom cleanup. I also spent time volunteering at a pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic, where I read to children and monitored them after Read more vaccination. I have a strong interest in pediatric nursing and truly enjoy working with children in both clinical and home settings. Babysitting allows me to combine my healthcare training with my passion for helping kids thrive in safe, engaging environments.
