Hello, my name is Bailey. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Virginia and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I’ve completed over 800 hours of nursing school clinical in a variety of settings, including emergency care and pediatrics. I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and take pride in being dependable and communicative. My experience working with children began at home, helping care for my three younger siblings, which gave me a strong foundation in patience, multitasking, and creating a safe, supportive environment. In undergrad, I volunteered at the VCU daycare, gaining over 200 hours of hands-on experience with toddlers ages 1 to 3. I assisted with daily routines such as meals, naps, outdoor play, and classroom cleanup. I also spent time volunteering at a pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic, where I read to children and monitored them after Read more vaccination. I have additionally cared for kiddos in the area from ages 8 months to 9 years of age. I have a strong interest in pediatric nursing and truly enjoy working with children in both clinical and home settings. Babysitting allows me to combine my healthcare training with my passion for helping kids thrive in safe, engaging environments.
