Hi there, my name is Abigayle (abbey) Seveney. I’m 26 years old and grew up in the Tomball/cypress area. I graduated college in 2022 with an associates degree in liberal arts. When I started college, I became a nanny with the simple intention of making some extra cash while doing classes. It didn’t take long for me to realize childcare was my absolute passion and my (career) purpose. I’ve been working with kids since I was 16 years old, doing simple, babysitting, and date nights. In 2020 I got my first official nannying job, ever since then I’ve known childcare was something I wanted to do long-term. Throughout the years 2020-2022 I nannied for multiple families and gained experience through tasks that included creating and organizing a stable routine, cooking nutritious meals that also had the ability to allow children to help, educational (but fun) activities. Over Those two years Read more I made the decision to start taking nannying more seriously and professional, which is when I got hired on at a nannying agency called “Jovie childcare reimagined in September of 2022. As of today, I’m currently employed with the agency and truly don’t have words to express the gratitude I have for the company I work at over the past few years. I’ve gained experience working with a plethora of different personalities and families while also learning and naturally making mistakes switch overall ended up helping me grow. Turning 26 I recognize I’m needing something more stable and consistent when it comes to childcare, which is why I have turned to sitter city. I was hired on by a few families, a couple years back and had great experiences. I would love to be a helping hand for a family that believes I could be a great fit for them.
