I have 3+ years of paid babysitting and volunteering experience working with children from toddlers through elementary age (up to 6th grade). I prefer caring for one child at a time as this way, I can give them my full attention and create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. I have my own vehicle but often prefer riding my bike and staying within the neighborhood when possible, as I strongly value regular fitness and earth sustainability. Around the home, I don’t mind helping with light housekeeping. I also encourage children to take part in age-appropriate responsibilities like putting toys away, tidying up, or fixing their bed. I believe tidiness is a life skill and encourage kids by leading through example never by forcing. Being a role model in my opinion is the most effective way of learning as kids are so smart they figure out new things rather quickly.
