I come from a rather big family so I've always been surrounded by children. This has taught me that children will be children. They can be very unpredictable so you must know how to be patient and how to address given situations. I was currently working at a learning center in Pleasantville, NY. They care for infants to up to pre kindergarteners. My daily duties included creating engaging activities for the children in order for them to develop social skills and basic skills like knowing their colors and letters. Other duties inlcluded helping with the prepping of their lunch and snack. In this, they were taught basic table manners and table skills. I would make sure they always had plentiful of daily activities as so they could express themselves and be able to reach their maximum potential for their age.
