I live in The Colony and am available to care for 1-3 children in my home most weekends. I have over 10 years experience as a nanny and many years experience as a teacher. I have a degree in art education and I currently teach for a homeschool pod in Carrollton that includes ages 6-11. I have 2 children ages 7 and 9, two cats and one sweet dog who is a young lab mix. We have an art and learning studio in our home stocked with every material imaginable. I love to facilitate art-making for children, balancing process art with skill building. My yard is mostly a rambling garden full of things for children to explore and complete with a potion kitchen, tree to climb, swings and a large stick and rock collection for creative work. Makenzie is a warm, smart, caring person and a terrific babysitter. She’s been an occasional evening babysitter for our kids (boy, 10 and girl, 7) for a couple of years now. She is extremely competent and her joy in working with children is obvious. My kids always have a good time with Makenzie, my daughter especially so. I highly recommend Makenzie as a babysitter.

I interviewed Makenzie in person for our position and was very impressed by her. Unfortunately our schedules did not match up but I am confident she would make an excellent sitter. She is poised, fun, smart, confident and capable. The kids adored her. Any family would be lucky to hire her!
