I have been working with kids in a professional setting for approximately one year. I attended Franklin County Career and Technology Center for 2 semesters where I took an early childhood education course. During this time I learned many skills such as nutrition and meal prep, lesson planning, safety and first aid, and child development. I worked for one semester in the preschool with children aged 3-5. Currently I volunteer as a teachers assistant at Fannett Metal Elementary School where I work one on one with children K-2. In August I will begin my college education as a psychology major, but am considering changing my major to teaching. I am also CPR certified and have criminal background checks completed.
