Hi! My name is Jordyn Bailey, and I’m currently a student at Radford University pursuing a dual endorsement in General Education and Special Education. I have a strong passion for working with children and creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where they can learn and grow. For the past year and a half, I’ve worked at Garden City Elementary School in a self-contained special education classroom, supporting students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs. During my time there, I’ve also worked with children in general education classrooms ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade. This experience has helped me build patience, adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect with children of different ages and needs. Outside of work, I come from a big family and have helped care for my three nephews and niece, ranging from 1 to 5 years old. I would describe myself as dependable, caring, energetic, and easy to communicate with. I’m also very comfortable around pets and have grown up with both dogs and cats. I’m currently looking for babysitting or nanny opportunities this summer and would love the opportunity to support your family and provide a positive, nurturing environment for your child!
