Hi, I love working with children and helping them learn how to be independent as well as be able to ask for help when needed. Working in ABA, with developmentally disabled children as a Behavior Technician, has allowed me to learn how to be more conscious of the verbal and nonverbal cues children display to express their needs and wants. When working with kids, outside of meeting their basic needs, I strive to promote functional play with others, and to be another trusted adult they feel comfortable to fully be themselves. Disclaimer: To be clear, though I do have experience working with children, I do not and will not provide services as an RBT or any behavior therapy services within this role.
