I have always loved working with children, which is why I became a teacher. I am a full time Music Teacher at a Kindergarten-8th grade school, and primarily teach Elementary School, but I feel comfortable working with children of all ages. I have been teaching for 9 years, and have been in my current school for the past 3 years. I have lived and worked in a variety of areas, including Waianae, Hawaii, Brooklyn, NY and Chicago, IL, but Buffalo, NY is my home. It is where I grew up and where my wife and I decided to settle down. The summer after college I babysat full time for one family, as well as part time for several others, while also taking auditions and performing in the area.  I loved this so much that I have decided to continue in the fall.  However, I was in need of a new Read more full time babysitting job as the girl I had been sitting for went back to school. At that point I was a nanny for two families, one in the morning (3 girls) and one in the afternoon (2 boys), while continuing to occasionally babysit for several other families. Since I began teaching full time, I have not spent as much time nannying or babysitting, but as a Music teacher I work with over 500 children on a weekly basis. I am also a certified lifeguard, and spent the last 2 summers Lifeguarding. I am looking for a regular or occasional nannying/babysitting position for the summer, while I have off from work. I have a great deal of experience, very strong references, and I would love to spend time with your children.
