Hi! I’m a married mom of 2 kiddos. I’m originally from Iowa but have been in Colorado for a decade now and love the nature/outdoorsy lifestyle here. I enjoy going for family walks-with our 2 dogs, reading, playing card/board games, and playing with my sons. I enjoy being a nanny because it allows me to really get to know kids/families and be a part of their day to day lives! I am honored to be welcomed into families and really take my job as a nanny seriously. I love going on adventures with my nanny kids; some of my favorite things to do are: going on walks and to the park, exploring the zoo and botanical gardens, going to story time at the library and making seasonal arts/crafts. I have over 15 years of childcare experience. I worked at a preschool/before and after school program for over two years during Read more high school. I also worked in a child care/preschool during college and accepted my first preschool teaching job there as well. I taught 4-5 year old preschool in Iowa for a year before moving to Colorado where I taught preschool, mostly 2.5-3.5 year olds for about two years before transitioning to nannying. I’ve nannied for 3 families over the course of eight years and have been with my current family for over six of those years! What really sets me apart is that I bring my own children with me-giving your child(ren) a built in playmate/friend. It’s truly an amazing opportunity for all kids involved to bond with another child almost like a sibling. I am responsible, respectful, nurturing, & energetic, and look forward to chance to get to know you and your family.
