Hello, my name is DeAndra, my kiddos call me Mrs. Dee. I have always loved working with children since I was a young girl. Watching children develop, learn, and grow is rewarding in itself for me. To individually and collectively be able to inspire and create with all children has been my pleasure. I professionally have experienced working with children ages infant to primary for over twenty years. I have experience working professionally with in-home daycare providers and most recently center-based as a preschool teacher. I am a mother of 3 amazing boys, two dogs and cat. DeAndra is fantastic with my 1yr and 2.5yr old kids. She meets them at their level, engages in lots of play (her lego building skills put mine to shame!), and is able to handle the tough moments with kindness and understanding. DeAndra is easy to work with and her joy and serenity is infectious. My kids love her - the baby is constantly smiling at and cuddling DeAndra and the toddler is so excited by all of the fun activities; she’s already memorizing a song Miss D. taught her to learn how to spell her own name. I’m a very cautious parent and I feel so fortunate that she’s a part of our lives. Highly recommend!
