I like to babysit because babysitting gives me the chance to take charge. I'm trusted to care for kids, solve problems, and make sure things go smoothly. Babysitting also teaches me valuable skills. I’ve learned how to stay calm in stressful situations, how to communicate clearly, and how to think on my feet. It’s definitely helped me grow more confident and capable. I have worked with children through Kids Club, which is an after-school program designed for elementary students whose parents are unable to pick them up immediately after school. As an assistant, responsibilities included supporting students with their homework and academic needs, engaging in physical activities such as basketball, and leading arts and crafts projects until parents arrived. Some skills I have are patience, active listening, childcare, leadership, and problem solving.
