Hi! My name is Adiella and I am graduating in May with a BA in Teacher Education and two credentials in Pre-K through 6th Grade Multiple Subject Teaching and Pre-K through 12th Grade Physical Education from PLNU! I have worked within schools throughout the San Diego School District as a tutor. I have experience working in Preschool through 12th Grade general and special education classrooms. Because of this I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, have been finger printed, background checked, and cleared for TB. I just bought myself a new car, so I have a very reliable transportation if needed! I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and helping them feel safe, happy, and confident while their parents are away. Over the years I’ve found that kids thrive when they have someone who is patient, attentive, and willing to engage Read more with them whether that’s playing games, helping with homework, doing crafts, or simply listening to their stories. It’s really rewarding to watch children grow and build trust with you over time. I also value the relationships I build with families and the peace of mind they get knowing their kids are in good hands. I have about 8 years of babysitting experience working with children ranging from newborns to teenagers. I’ve cared for single children as well as multiple siblings at once (the most being 7 siblings). My experience includes infant care (bottles, diapering, naps, and soothing), toddler routines, school pick-ups and drop-offs, cooking meals, homework help, bedtime routines, and organizing fun activities that are age-appropriate. I’ve also helped families during busy evenings, weekends, and full-day care through a summer camp for the past 4 years over during summer. Over the years I’ve developed strong skills in patience, communication, and problem-solving, which are really important when working with kids of different ages and personalities. I’m very comfortable managing routines, setting gentle boundaries, and keeping kids engaged instead of being indoors on technology. As mentioned above I’m trained in CPR, AED, and First Aid certified for infants through Adulthood. I always prioritize safety while making sure kids are having fun. I’m organized, dependable, and attentive to each family’s preferences, routines, and parenting style so that children feel comfortable and cared for in a familiar way. Also, I have swimming and lifeguarding experience.
