Even though I have never continued my education in early childhood development, working with children has always been in my careeer path, when I first turned 16 still in Highschool I became a swimming instructor for Kids Club in Vancouver, WA. While being a swim instructor part time I also took up babysitting a family friends little boy who’s name was Jackson and was 9 yrs old at the time, I picked him up from school and took him to after school events like hockey / soccer and watching while he practiced, I helped him with school work he had and cooked him dinner until his mom would get home from work. When he was old enough to start staying home alone I began working at KinderCare Learning Center as a lead school age teacher in 2016, my job included going over a daily ciriculum lesson with the kids, playing Read more with them outside, making art projects and crafts, doing science experiments, taking them on field trips, helping them with meals, reading to them and encouraging them to read on their own, helping them resolve any problems that came up and generally cleaning the entire facility every night. The past 3 years I have been providing in home nannying and have letters of recommendation from my last family I have provided care for!
