Hi there, Max Rose here! I look forward to meeting you and your little ones. I am 30 years young, born and raised in NYC, living in beautiful Eugene for nearly 5 years. I have over 15 years of babysitting experience with children of all ages and diverse needs, as well as 8+ years as a strategic partnerships and operations manager across creative, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. I am a natural caretaker and love spending time with small humans — they are my biggest teachers. I love to cook, housekeep, craft, dance, explore nature, ski/hike, teach, and play — all things that make me a great nanny! Education is very important to me: I graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University and am self-taught bilingual in Spanish; I would love to tutor your children through structured educational activities and emergent learning opportunities. I am warm, responsible, patient, detail-oriented, and self-starting. I prioritize gentle parenting/non-violent communication techniques and care deeply about building authentic trust with your kiddos — ensuring they are safe, supported, engaged, and empowered. For context, I’m currently in career transition and in the early stages of entrepreneurship. As a result I have decided to return to my first and favorite job of nannying to both pay my bills and nourish my spirit! Pay is flexible but I am seeking an abundant opportunity that pays commensurate with my highly educated background and professionalism in full-spectrum childcare, including home care (organizing. laundry, gardening), meal prep (shopping, cooking, nutrition planning), pet support, education (tutoring, hw support, extracurricular facilitation), errands, and other project support as needed. My typical availabilities are Mondays through Thursdays, mornings through afternoons; extra hours can typically be worked out with advance notice and I hope for reciprocal flexibility with advance time off requests. I live in SW Eugene with my partner (who is an early childhood/special needs educator!) and own a well-maintained 2010 Lexus SUV that I’m happy to use to transport children with gas cost sharing.
