I am a very active individual. I have worked with 6 weeks - 12 years of age both as a full-time employee and part time, along with babysitting for 12 years. Working in centers has helped me immensely with ideas for educational and fun activities while working as an in-home care provider. I thoroughly enjoy helping introduce children to new things and fun experiences. Some of my former daycare tasks have been writing curriculum's, creating summer programs and overseeing daily activities. Working with toddlers, potty training and helping shape motor skills is vital and I have a wealth of experience teaching these skills directly with them. CPR, First Aid and Epi Pen Certified I have worked with twins, premature and autistic children, blind and deaf, birth to three along with children who have severe allergies. With an immense background in supervising and tending to infants I have a lot of Read more experience teaching them how to drink from bottles, tummy time and rolling over to crawling, pulling up and walking. I have taught well over fifty children how to eat table foods and assist in having them nap in cribs. My experience with toddlers is different but centralized around their milestones. Practicing balance, running, holding/using sippy cups and utencils along with fun activities like painting and getting used to new textures. As mentioned earlier I have worked with children up to 12 years old and am completely comfortable and equipped to keep them occupied and having fun! I do provide a nanny binder to go over for examples of what a day would look like for myself and the children! I have traveled with families on vacation and assisted in day to day activities ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the vacation and not just the little ones!
