With over 12 years of experience working with children, I am confident in my ability to support families and provide reliable, attentive childcare. I hold a B.S. in Marine and Coastal Science with a minor in Education, which has given me a strong foundation in both learning and child development. I have worked with children from the newborn stage through middle school in a variety of settings, including nurseries, schools, and private homes. In previous nanny positions with two families, I was responsible for creating engaging activities, preparing meals and snacks, and safely transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities. I am passionate about child development and teaching through both formal and informal activities. I have worked camps where I am taking care of up to 15 kids, engaging with them and making sure to interact with each as an individual. During my time at UCD, I founded Read more the Davis Chapter of Sprout Up, an environmental education nonprofit which provides free environmental focused lessons for 1st and 2nd grade students. My goal is to create a supportive, structured, and fun environment where children feel safe, curious, and encouraged to learn and grow. I am currently in the process of renewing my First Aid and CPR certification.
