Hey, I'm Joseph, I've never done full time/paid babysitting, but I've had years of experience taking care of children as a result of family circumstance, and I've always worked well with kids, and I tend to get along well with them too. I'm a big fan of videogames, outdoor activities like biking/hiking/camping. I've always been big into science, as a kid I loved going to COSI all the time. I love animals and the zoo has always been a favorite place of mine. I tend to be a bit of a nerd. I'm not the most experienced when it comes to cooking/preparing meals but it's something I definitely intend to learn and practice, I do have fairly rudimentary cooking skills if they are at all required. I'd like to say I'm a fairly sharp cookie, and should be fully capable of helping with anything from homework to personal projects if Read more need be. I've had pets my entire life and am used to caring for them and keeping them entertained, and am happy to do so if need be. I'm fully capable of first aid and CPR, I've received extensive training on care under stress from my time in the military working as a combat engineer, as well as keen senses on my surroundings and keeping track of people under my care. I do have a personal vehicle, however it is only a 3 seater pickup truck, so I won't be able to carry more than 2 kids at most, I am happy however to provide transportation/run errands if need be. I don't smoke, and do not drink often (especially not during work of course) I have never used marijuana or any form of hard drug in my life. I have not had any experience in caring for low functioning special needs children but I'd be happy to give it a try if needed.
