I am a college student studying music and theatre education. I have always loved working with kids. I worked for 4 summers at a scout camp in the Adirondacks, I worked with youth ages 10-18. With that, I have experience with camp spirit, leading kids in songs and skits, and was recognized by many campers and adults as being energetic and bringing a joyful energy to the campers. In addition to working at a summer camp, I have experience volunteering with youth ages 2-6. I volunteered at Elwanger and Barry Nursery School for 2 years. Through this, I learned how to work with young children, both leading them in games and educational activities and playing with them, and helping them with whatever they were struggling with. Through these experiences, I have found a love for connecting with and working with Youth. I have learned how to appropriately and effectively manage Read more youth, clearing up conflicts and helping them by connecting with them rather than commanding and controlling them. I have known for a long time that I wanted to teach kids and help them grow, and that's why I love being a sitter
