I’m Katie, a mom of two offering in-home childcare in Smithfield Monday–Friday. I care for children from newborn to 10 years old, with pickup by 6 PM each day. We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Our home is very kid-friendly with a living room full of toys, books, and coloring supplies, and we also have a big yard that’s perfect for chalk, bubbles, and outdoor play. I also have additional rooms and spaces in my home for naps and different play activities throughout the day. In addition to caring for my 2-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter full time, I previously worked as a nanny for my twin nephews when they were 2 years old, helping with their daily care as well as meals, dishes, and laundry. My daughter (who was 3 at the time) would often come with me, so I became very comfortable managing and caring for multiple Read more little ones at once. We also have two older huskies who have grown up with my kids since birth. They’re very sweet, gentle, and great with children. My goal is always to keep kids safe, happy, and engaged throughout the day in a warm and welcoming environment. All childcare takes place in my home.
