I am currently a student at the college of Charleston and I love being a sitter because it allows me to make a positive impact on children's lives while also providing peace of mind to parents. I enjoy engaging with children, creating fun, educational activities, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing a child grow and thrive under my care, knowing I’m making their day a little brighter. I have 5 years of experience babysitting children of various ages, ranging from toddlers to school-aged kids. I've worked with families on both a regular basis and as a one-time sitter for events. My responsibilities have included meal preparation, helping with homework, creating playtime activities, and ensuring the children are safe and happy. Additionally, I have experience in managing bedtime routines, light housework, and assisting with any special needs or requirements a child may have. I have Read more completed a Babysitting Certification course, which included training in child safety, first aid, and CPR. I am also skilled in managing various activities that promote learning and creativity, from arts and crafts to outdoor play. I’m patient, responsible, and able to handle emergencies calmly, always prioritizing the child's well-being. My strong communication skills allow me to maintain open dialogue with both children and parents, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and well-informed.
