Hi! I'm Ana- a creative, compassionate caregiver with a deep love for working with kids and teens. I’m currently earning my MFA in Applied and Educational Theatre at Emerson College, where I focus on how storytelling, play, and creativity can support confidence, expression, and social-emotional growth in young people. I’ve worked with children and adolescents for over 20 years as a teacher, theatre director, tutor, and camp counselor. I specialize in school-aged care and feel especially connected to tweens and teens navigating big feelings, growing independence, and new experiences. Whether I’m helping with homework, leading games or creative projects, or offering a calm, steady presence during after-school hours, I bring warmth, patience, and attentiveness to every interaction. I’ve supported many neurodivergent students and young people with anxiety or sensory sensitivities, and I always strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment. I’ve also completed First Aid and CPR training (currently due Read more for renewal) and am happy to refresh certification if needed. In addition to child care, I love animals (especially my adorable dog, Brooksby) and am comfortable providing pet care and support in households with dogs, cats, or other furry (or feathery!) companions. I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy connecting with young people- their humor, creativity, and individuality- and helping them feel confident and cared for.
