I’m a freelance illustrator & the mom of 3 kids, ages 16, 22. & 24. I began babysitting and volunteer work with children when I was 11 years old. I’ve completed babysitting, child care and first-aid/CPR courses several times over the years, however my Red Cross CPR certification is not current. I am willing to renew my certification, if that’s a condition of employment. I’ve been an assistant pre-school teacher, Sunday School & VBS teacher, church nursery employee (1st Presbyterian of N. Palm Beach) and volunteer (Riverside Presbyterian, Jacksonville) and an active participant in Girl Scouts, athletic associations & school classrooms from pre-K to High School. I have experience with sensory processing & high functioning spectrum disorders and gifted children. I believe kids learn best through play and creative activities. I’m a sucker for big imaginations, Legos, Hot Wheels tracks, crayons, sidewall chalk, story time and four-square balls 😊. While Read more I love pets, long-term exposure to anything but Hypoallergenic breeds will lead to itchy eyes and sneezing and I’m pretty sure no one wants that, nowadays. My husband and I work from home and only go out for essentials, keeping our interactions with others to the same small “bubble” of like-minded, cautious friends. I do have my own transportation.
