Hi everyone! My name is Sophie, and I’m a dedicated fourth-year college student studying Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of Dayton. In addition to my degree, I am pursuing a certificate in Dyslexia, Autism, and STEM education. I have extensive experience working with children, particularly in the infant and toddler room at the Bombeck Family Learning Center on UD’s campus, where I honed my skills with kids aged newborn to four years old. Currently, as a Registered Behavior Technician, I work full time during the weekdays, providing ABA therapy to a child on the autism spectrum, which is also another one of my passions! This summer, I am available in Cincinnati and Dayton and would love to offer my babysitting services on weekends! I believe in creating a fun and enriching environment for children, so I’m excited to engage in activities like arts and crafts, games, and Read more imaginative play. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a background in lifeguarding, coaching a summer swim team for two years, and giving swim lessons. I also started a reading and math summer review camp for neighborhood children for the past three years, which has been a wonderful experience. With a diverse range of skills and a genuine passion for working with children, I am always eager to explore new opportunities. I am new to this platform and excited to embark on this journey!
