I am currently a full-time ESL teacher at a middle school in Culpeper. I’m going into my fourth year teaching ESL here in Culpeper, sixth year teaching overall (I taught English for two years in South Korea). I’ve taught nearly every age and grade, ranging from kindergarten to upper middle school. In addition to my teaching experience, I have over twelve years’ experience working with children in various capacities, such as babysitter, nanny, pre-school/daycare teacher, tutor, and youth specialist for at-risk immigrant youth. The children/youth I’ve worked with have ranged in age from infants and toddlers to high-school age. However, I have the most experience working with children between 5 and 13 years of age. Due to being a full-time teacher, I am currently available primarily on the weekends and possibly holidays and school breaks. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have my own car, speak multiple languages (most proficient Read more in Spanish), and, as a teacher, am an excellent homework helper/tutor. Overall, I am a fun-loving, young-at-heart woman who finds joy in spending time with children and seeing the world through their eyes. My years of work with children are testament to this!
